Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Install Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing access control and CCTV systems to ensure the security and functionality of our clients' premises. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. Qualifications and Skills:
Understanding of networking and wireless equipment installation Understanding of access control principles, systems, and technologies. Familiarity with various access control hardware, including panels, readers, locks, and sensors. Ability to perform patching and cable management. Should possess basic electronic and locksmith skills with experience in operating power tools and low voltage equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines. Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces if necessary. Proficient at bending conduit. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong work ethic and task-ownership mindset required. Must be punctual. Owns basic set of tools for low voltage installation. Must have OSHA 30. Must have a reliable mode of transportation and driver's license with clean DMV record.
Job Responsibilities :
Programming, installation and testing of
CCTV, IP
Camera, Wireless AP, Card Access Control Systems. Installing and terminating end devices such as card/badge readers, CCTV cameras, motion detectors, door strikes, mag locks, request-to-exit buttons, etc. Installation of low voltage wire Installation and termination and/or programming of various Access Control manufacturers, including but not limited to: Brivo, Honeywell, Butterfly MX Providing daily status updates to project managers and team members
Hours:
Full-time position. Evening and weekend hours as required. Compensation commensurate with experience. Please send a resume with salary requirements for consideration. Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of background and drug testing.
