Responsibilities Install, splice, and test coaxial cables and fiber optic lines according to schematics and technical specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation projects. Climb ladders to access installation sites while adhering to safety protocols. Use computer networking knowledge to troubleshoot LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), Ethernet, and telephony systems. Connecting fiber with precision to ensure optimal signal quality and performance. Coax cable experience( Spectrum Knowledge immediately Onboard ) Maintain detailed records of work performed, including installation logs, test results, and safety inspections. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles related to telecommunication or construction environments. Knowledge of fiber connectivity and terminating techniques and telecommunication cabling standards. Familiarity with electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and network infrastructure components. Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, climbing, and safety procedures. Experience with IT infrastructure including computer networking, Ethernet wiring, LAN/WAN configurations, and telephony systems. Construction background with an emphasis on telecommunications or electrical experience preferred.
