Company Overview NuFlow Upstate NY is a small, family-owned business specializing in non-traditional pipe rehabilitation, including cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining, pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, and other "trenchless" technologies. Our specialty is small-to-medium diameter pipe (1.5"
- 24") within the building footprint for sanitary, storm, process waste, forced mains, cooling towers, fire, potable water, condensate return, and other various applications. We also perform pipe rehabilitation work outside the building footprint

- The Field Technician is responsible for executing trenchless pipe rehabilitation work in commercial, industrial, institutional and municipal environments.
This is a hands-on role that includes the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), conducting robotic branch line reinstatements, operating CCTV inspection equipment, performing pipe cleaning and milling, and installing other pipe rehabilitation systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

- This role is based primarily in Rochester (Henrietta), but the employee must be willing to travel regionally with a crew of technicians. Our region is defined as Western / Upstate NY (Syracuse, Albany, Watertown, Buffalo, Jamestown, Binghamton, etc.).
- Roughly 80% of our work is within a 60-90-mile radius of Rochester, but occasionally we may have jobs that require overnight stays in hotels for a few days at a time. This is usually done when a job is >2.5 hour drive one-way. Responsibilities Field Operations & Installation
- Perform trenchless pipe rehabilitation work including CIPP lining, pipe cleaning, descaling, and milling
- Assist with liner preparation, wet-out, inversion or pull-in-place installation, curing, and finishing
- Operate CCTV inspection cameras and related equipment to document pipe conditions before and after rehabilitation
- Safely operate tools, pumps, generators, compressors, and other job-specific equipment
- Set up and break down job sites, including hoses, cables, access points, and containment areas
- Follow job plans, technical procedures, and direction from crew leads and supervisors Safety, Quality & Professionalism
- Comply with all company safety policies, job site safety requirements, and applicable regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Accurately document work performed, inspections completed, and materials used
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, facility staff, and inspectors
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or deviations from scope promptly Travel & Scheduling
- Participate in local projects as well as occasional out-of-town work
- Out-of-town projects may require overnight travel and hotel stays for several consecutive days (infrequent, but required as business needs arise)
- Work may include early mornings, extended hours, nights, or weekends depending on project requirements
- Will be responsible for completing timesheets on time Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable occasionally working in confined spaces and industrial settings
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to wear required PPE including gloves and safety footwear Qualifications Required
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical procedures
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required Preferred
- Experience in trenchless pipe rehabilitation, plumbing, sewer, or industrial maintenance
- Experience with CCTV pipe inspection systems
- Familiarity with pipe cleaning, milling, or descaling equipment
- Confined space training or certification
- OSHA safety training or similar certifications Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications
Overtime:
Weekly overtime pay when applicable
