(EWS) is currently seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician. Requirements of the Low Voltage Technician Ability to pass pre-employment screening Valid Driver's License Able to lead commercial low voltage projects involving installations and repairs Scissors and Boom Lift Experience preferred Finger& wrist dexterity& hand/eye coordination. Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts& roof tops utilizing proper fall protection. Ability to use small hand tools and power tools Climbing of stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds. Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and drive a vehicle. Benefits of the Low Voltage Technician Medical / Dental / Vision Paid time off Flexible Schedule 401k Responsibilities of the Low Voltage Technician Lead large commercial projects for big box stores. Ability to properly install both copper and fiber optic cable. Ability to properly terminate copper cable (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.). Ability to properly create and install labels. Ability to perform all component and system testing. Ability to complete the tasks assigned in a timely manner. Ability to understand basic wiring diagrams and installation instructions. Ability to work with small telecommunication components such as fiber optic strands and small gauge copper wire. Use proper care on all company assets to avoid breakage, misuse, theft, etc. Help load and unload daily supplies and equipment on to and off of company vehicles. Knowledgeable on the proper use of basic hand tools. Ability to act in a professional and courteous manner on all matters involving the customer.
