Role Description This is a full‑time position for a Level 2 Structured Cabling Technician . This role focuses on hands‑on installation and support of structured cabling projects while working closely with Site Leads and project teams. This role is ideal for technicians who take pride in their craft, want growth opportunities, and want to be part of a team that values accountability and execution. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling Perform rack & stack work under direction of Site Leads Assist with pathway installation and cable management Follow project plans, standards, and safety protocols Support Site Leads with daily task execution Maintain professional interaction with customers and teammates Represent GSD professionally as the face of the company on site Qualifications Hands‑on experience with structured cabling systems • Basic working knowledge of analog and digital communications, VoIP systems, and networking concepts as they relate to structured cabling environments Working knowledge of copper and fiber installation Familiarity with rack & stack installations Ability to follow BICSI and industry standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently when assigned tasks High school diploma or equivalent Cabling certifications are a plus (BICSI, SYSTIMAX, Panduit ONE, etc.) Valid driver's license Comfortable working aloft Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments Benefits Paid time off • Health insurance eligibility after 90 days of employment Career growth opportunities Consistent work schedule with focus on work/life balance

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.50 per hour
