Lead Structured Cabling Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and BICSI certified Lead Structured Cabling Technician with at least 8 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, installing, and maintaining structured cabling systems. Industry certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. Design and implement structured cabling solutions for various projects. Ensure all cabling installations comply with industry standards and best practices. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine cabling requirements. Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Maintain accurate documentation of cabling installations and configurations. Perform regular inspections and testing of cabling systems to ensure optimal performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards.

Qualifications:

BICSI certification is required. Minimum of 8 years of experience in structured cabling. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Proficiency in using cabling tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Industry certifications (e.g., RCDD, CTS) are a plus.
