Job Title:
Low Voltage Technician (Data Center)

Short-Term Project Overview:
We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Technicians to support structured cabling installations within a data center environment. This role involves installing, routing, and terminating fiber optic and copper cabling systems while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Candidates should be comfortable working on ladders and performing underfloor cabling work.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, route, and terminate fiber optic (MPO, LC, single-mode, multimode) and copper (Cat6) cabling Perform structured cabling work including pulling and dressing cable bundles (trunks) Work in data center environments, including overhead (ladders) and underfloor spaces Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed Follow project phases and timelines to meet deadlines Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas Collaborate with onsite leads and project managers
Work Schedule & Project Duration:
Start time: 8:00 AM Daily shifts: ~10 hours (overtime expected) Project duration (example structure): Phase 1: Initial installation period Phase 2: Continued cabling and build-out Phase 3: Finalization and completion tasks Work may include weekends and holidays depending on project needs
Required Qualifications:
Experience with low voltage cabling installations Knowledge of fiber and copper cabling systems Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, climbing ladders) Familiarity with data center environments preferred Valid government-issued
ID Tools & Equipment:
Must provide basic hand tools for cable installation and termination
PPE Requirements:
Hard hat Safety glasses Gloves High-visibility vest
Compensation & Additional Details:
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Overtime opportunities available Per diem may be provided for eligible travelers ($50/day) + hotel provided Travel compensation may be available Holiday work paid double time

Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
