Position Summary:

Overtime available! Anistar is seeking an experienced Lead Structured Cabling Technician to support the installation, termination, testing, and servicing of voice, data, fiber, and security/access control systems. Candidates must be comfortable working from lifts and in active commercial environments. The ideal candidate must possess the following: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling installation, including pulling, routing, placement, termination, testing, and labeling of both copper and fiber infrastructure. Experience with IDF/MDF buildouts, rack installation, and fiber termination/testing is a plus. BICSI certification (current or prior) is also a plus but not required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and capable of leading work with minimal supervision. Must have experience with the following: Per diem, mileage, drive time, and overtime provided when traveling Must be willing to use personal vehicle Corning UniCam or Panduit OptiCam terminations Ability to work independently and lead small crews Strong proficiency with fiber and copper cabling systems Installation, routing, termination, and testing of structured cabling in commercial environments 2+ years of experience leading structured cabling installation and service in commercial environments Ability to service and troubleshoot network and POS systems Ownership of basic telecom tools (punch-down tool, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, etc.)

Required PPE:

hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety vest, steel/composite toe boots Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC standards Ability to provide two professional references
