Position Overview We are seeking a Lead Security Systems Technician to install, program, and service security, access control, fire alarm, and video surveillance systems. This role combines hands-on installation work with leadership responsibilities, including overseeing job sites and mentoring less experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities Install and configure low voltage systems including security, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV Pull wire, mount devices, install door hardware, and terminate connections Program cameras, video management systems, and access control platforms Review project scope and execute based on sales and project documentation Lead job sites and manage multiple installations as needed Coordinate scheduling and execution with project managers and customers Train end users on system operation and basic troubleshooting Maintain accurate job documentation and completion notes Manage truck inventory and maintain organization of tools and materials Work professionally with customers, team members, and contractors Requirements 2-5+ years of low voltage or security system installation experience Experience with structured cabling and system installation Strong technical aptitude, including basic networking knowledge Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights Ability to distinguish wire colors Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Preferred Qualifications Experience with Hanwha, Milestone, S2, Open Options, Gallagher, or DMP Ohio Fire Alarm License Experience in commercial or institutional environments Work Environment & Schedule Full-time position Based out of North Canton, OH Job sites typically within a 2-hour radius Dispatch from home once equipped with materials Occasional overnight travel (typically in-state) Company Values Work as a Team Show Respect Deliver Results Be Accountable Stay Customer-Focused Equal Opportunity Employer ProTech Security, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
