Lead Cable Technician

Job Description We are looking for an experienced structured cable technician to lead a crew of 2 to 4 technicians across several commercial projects in the Myrtle Beach area. Responsibilities

• Run commercial structured cabling projects start to finish
• Read and execute from prints and drawings
• Establish and manage cable pathways
• Pull, dress, label, and terminate copper cabling
• Build out and organize telecom/comm rooms
• Perform testing using Fluke testers
• Proper setup
• Correct cable IDs
• Accurate project naming
• Troubleshoot cabling and test failures
• Lead and manage crews
• Keep teams productive
• Ensure quality workmanship
• Provide daily progress reports
• Cable counts
• Work completed
• Issues or delays Top Skills Cable, Cabling, Cat6, Cat5, Construction, Termination testing, Install, Low voltage, Blueprint, Cable installation, Troubleshooting, Structured cabling, Fiber optic Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Fiber experience (not required)
• Healthcare / hospital environment experience (not required)
• Night shift flexibility
• Out-of-town travel flexibility Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Myrtle Beach, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00
• $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
