- The Service Technician installs, services, and maintains low‑voltage security and network systems, including access control, cameras, cabling, and related hardware. This role requires technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a service team. Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain: Access control devices and electrified door hardware
- Surveillance cameras
- Cable pathway systems and low-voltage cabling (component, category, fiber)
- Wireless access points and other security/network devices
- Maintain company tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with service team members and support additional duties as needed.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the security industry. Minimum Qualifications
- Looking for anyone who wants to be in a trade and grow with the company. Someone who takes pride in what they do, want to learn and grow their career
- 2+ years experience needed in access control.
- Must have experience using hand and power tools, comfortable working on ladders and in lifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license; must be 21+ to operate company vehicles.
- Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency using installation tools (measuring tape, level, etc.).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends, overnights as needed).
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, man-lifts).
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Desire to learn and grow in the security systems industry.
- We are seeking four (4) technicians immediately, with the potential to add two (2) additional technicians as project demands require, who have some or all of the following experience: Structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6, fiber, low voltage) VMS installations (IP/analog cameras, head-end equipment) Access control systems (Lenel, S2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon) Door hardware installation (electrified locks, readers, strikes, crash bars) Familiarity with Allegion and

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00- $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
