Silver City, NC Murfreesboro, TN Pompano Beach, FL Port St. Lucie, FL Archdale, NC Winston-Salem, NC Lancaster, SC Vernon, TX Dillon, SC North Charleston, SC Tupelo, MS Summerville, SC Clemson, SC Muscle Shoals, AL Oklahoma City, OK Sunrise, FL We are seeking experienced Lead Cable Technicians for ongoing Walmart remodel projects across multiple states. This role focuses on low-voltage infrastructure upgrades, structured cabling installations, and fiber optic deployments inside active retail environments. Technicians who perform well and remain committed to the project will have the opportunity to transition into permanent roles and continue traveling to future projects nationwide.Key Responsibilities:
Lead low-voltage and structured cabling installations during Walmart remodel projects Install cable support systems including j-hooks, racks, ladder racks, and innerduct Pull, route, label, terminate, and test CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cabling Install and connect devices in IDF/MDF closets and network cabinets Perform fiber optic and copper testing using Fluke testers and other diagnostic equipment Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and project specifications Troubleshoot cabling systems and resolve connectivity issues efficiently Maintain accurate documentation, testing records, and project reporting Coordinate with store management and project leadership to complete work safely and on schedule Follow OSHA, NEC, and site-specific safety regulations at all timesRequirements:
Minimum 2+ years of low-voltage or structured cabling experience Previous lead technician experience preferred Experience with fiber optic terminations, copper terminations, and data room build-outs Ability to work from ladders and lifts and in confined spaces when needed Must own basic low-voltage hand tools Experience using Fluke testers and cable certification equipment preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredPreferred Certifications:
BICSI FOA OSHA 10/30
