Contract / Project-Based Overview We are seeking a Traveling Low Voltage Technician for an immediate deployment to Milbank, SD. This is a short-term, high-priority project focused on field terminations and testing within a commercial environment. Ideal candidates are reliable, self-sufficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven jobsite. Scope of Work Perform low voltage field terminations (Cat5e/Cat6 and/or similar cabling) Conduct testing and verification of installed cable systems Ensure all terminations meet quality standards and are properly labeled Assist with troubleshooting connectivity or performance issues as needed Work alongside site leadership to complete project milestones on schedule
Schedule & Work Conditions Start Time:
7:00 AM daily Monday-Friday schedule (with potential for additional hours if needed) Active construction / commercial jobsite environment Work performed indoors and/or structured facility environment Travel & Per Diem Hotel accommodations fully covered Per diem: $57/day for meals Ideal for technicians open to traveling project work Tools & PPE Requirements Technician must bring: Low voltage tools (crimpers, punchdown, testers, etc.)
PPE:
Steel toe boots, hard hat, high-visibility vest Qualifications Experience with low voltage cabling, terminations, and testing Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic #tekone
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
