About the Position We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Technician to assist with installation, service, and support of low-voltage systems. This role includes structured cabling, rack installations, camera systems, door access, and other custom low-voltage technology installs. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow in the low-voltage field. Prior experience is helpful but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and servicing of low-voltage systems including:
- Surveillance camera systems
- Door access and entry systems
- Network cabling and rack installations
- Other custom low-voltage technology installs
- Pull, route, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6 and similar)
- Assist with equipment mounting, rack organization, and basic configuration
- Troubleshoot and service existing low-voltage systems as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Follow jobsite safety standards and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Represent the company professionally on construction and customer sites Minimum Education High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent experience
Preferred:
1-2 years of experience in low-voltage, construction, or related technical work Requirements
- Interest in low-voltage systems, construction, or technology
- Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and take direction
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Comfortable working on ladders, at heights, and overhead
- Willingness to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, and equipment rooms
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, and equipment rooms
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying environments including heat, cold, dust, and confined

- Experience with camera systems or door access systems
- Network rack installation or cable management experience
- Construction or jobsite experience
- Basic networking knowledge
- Willingness to pursue certifications or further training
