Duties Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including cameras, VoIP systems, cabling, ethernet networks, and access control systems Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure precise system setup and maintenance Perform fiber splicing, cable routing, and terminations using hand tools and power tools to establish reliable connections Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, perform equipment repairs, and upgrade existing systems for clients Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and ensuring satisfaction Maintain detailed documentation of installations, inspections, repairs, and system configurations for compliance and future reference Adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols during all installation and maintenance activities Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Low Voltage Technician Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), routers, Ethernet cabling (Cat6/fiber), and network installation procedures Hands-on experience with camera systems, copper/fiber splicing techniques, and VoIP (A/V would be a plus, but not required) Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring practices, NEC standards, Ohmmeter usage for testing circuits, and equipment repair processes Ability to read technical diagrams related to low voltage systems such as security cameras, access controls, and network cabling layouts Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in diverse client environments Physical capability to handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, and other equipment necessary for installation tasks Join us in delivering innovative low voltage solutions that empower businesses with reliable connectivity and security!
