The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and a passion for delivering high-quality service to our customers. As a Satellite Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of satellite systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install satellite dishes and related equipment at residential and commercial locations. Perform fiber splicing and network installation to ensure seamless connectivity. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and other network devices. Utilize hand tools and low voltage equipment for installation tasks. Conduct cabling for telecommunication systems, including Ethernet and telephony setups. Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to assess equipment functionality and perform necessary repairs. Use an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in the telecommunications industry is preferred. Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices. Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques and low voltage systems. Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to satellite installation. Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. A valid driver's license is required for travel to various job sites.
