Datasavior Inc. is a small locally owned company founded in 2004. We have grown with Austin and the surrounding area largely by word of mouth referrals from highly satisfied customers. As a Cable Installer for Datasavior, you will install and maintain Voice, Data, and Fiber Optic cabling and AV solutions. you will route, terminate, test and label cables. Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

Terminate Fiber Optics using mechanical connectors. Perform tasks as directed and give directions to others to complete the project scope of work. Communication efficiently and professionally with customers and co-workers to help make the project a success for all parties. Assist with materials acquisition. Help to promote a safe and successful work environment.

Duties:

Install, maintain and repair cable systems for commercial customers. Perform cable installations, to include running cables through walls, ceilings and floors. Test and troubleshoot cable connections to ensure proper signal strength and quality. Install wall mounted TV's, rack mounted network, and A/V equipment. Provide excellent cutomer service by addressing cutomer questions and concerns. Follow safety protocols and guidlines while working job sites.

Requirements:

Familiarity with proper cabling techniques, including fiber termination and Ethernet connections. Know how to use tools necessary to complete cable installations. Attention to detail. We pride ourselves on leaving the work environment cleaner than when we arrived. Current driver's license. Reliable transportation. Pass a background check.
