Full Job Description Low Voltage Cable Technician Location:
Austin, TX Pay:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour Job Description KS Staffing Group is currently hiring experienced Low Voltage Cable Technicians for commercial construction projects in the Austin area. We are seeking dependable, motivated professionals with experience in structured cabling who are committed to producing quality work in a safe environment. (Teal) Responsibilities Pull, route, test, and terminate low voltage cabling. Install cable support systems, including J-hooks, ladder racks, and cable trays. Read and follow directions from the project lead. Work safely from ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. Install cabling in commercial new construction environments. Use hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, snips, and levels. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications Previous experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician. Experience with commercial structured cabling installations. Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Reliable with excellent communication skills. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
