Job Description

Network Cabling Services has an immediate need for experienced Low Voltage Technicians in the DFW area. Position Overview The Low Voltage Technician is responsible for executing structured cabling projects under the direction of a Project Manager and/or OSPM, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Key Responsibilities Execute structured cabling installations and meet productivity goals Review material pick tickets and support job readiness Maintain accurate redline drawings, labeling, and as-built documentation Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and PPE standards Participate in site walks, construction meetings, and punch list completion Submit daily progress reports and maintain project documentation Perform testing, commissioning, and closeout activities Plan and coordinate crew tasks when required Maintain knowledge of industry standards, codes, and certifications Represent NCS with professionalism and strong customer service Safely operate company vehicles when authorized Qualifications Minimum 2 years of structured cabling experience (required) Valid driver's license Strong understanding of low voltage systems, installation practices, and safety standards Ability to read drawings and produce accurate documentation Strong communication and problem-solving skills
