Responsibilities:

Assist experienced low voltage technicians with commercial installation projects Support the installation of structured cabling, low voltage systems, and related equipment Pull, route, and organize low voltage cabling including CAT5e, CAT6, and other communication cables Assist with cable termination, labeling, dressing, and basic testing procedures Help install cable pathways, racks, patch panels, and other low voltage components Maintain clean and organized job sites while following safety procedures Assist technicians with tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily installations Support project completion in healthcare and education environments, including hospitals and schools Follow direction from lead technicians and assist with troubleshooting and quality control Maintain professionalism while working with customers, contractors, and project teams

Requirements:

Previous construction, electrical, telecommunications, or low voltage experience preferred but not required Willingness to learn and grow within the low voltage industry Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail Ability to work in commercial environments such as hospitals and schools Must be reliable and able to maintain consistent attendance Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed Valid driver's license preferred Must be able to work scheduled shifts: 7:00 AM•3:30 PM 6:00 AM•2:30 PM Why Work with Next Level Technician in Houston & Conroe, Texas ?
