The Role As a Field Technician, you'll travel to apartment communities across the country, installing and provisioning our smart home technology and making sure every resident touchpoint feels warm and professional. This role blends practical trades skills with genuine tech know-how. This is a field-first role for someone energized by being on the road—you'll spend most of your time at properties across the country. What You'll Be Doing

• Installing devices onsite, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Testing, staging and provisioning hardware before deployment.
• Interacting directly with residents during installation, making them feel informed and supported.
• Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues on-site, thinking on your feet to find solutions.
• Logging installs, flagging issues, and keeping the team in the loop.
• Working in properties nationwide on a project basis—deployments typically last up to three weeks. What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in a trades, field tech, or hardware/IoT-related role (experience in multifamily or PropTech is a plus).
