Job Description
NCS is looking a DAS (Distributed Antenna System) Installer / Technician is responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining wireless communication systems that enhance cellular and radio coverage within commercial buildings, stadiums, hospitals, campuses, tunnels, and other large-scale facilities. Key Responsibilities Install DAS equipment, antennas, coaxial and fiber optic cabling, and associated mounting hardware Run, route, terminate, and test coaxial and fiber optic cables Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, schematics, and wiring diagrams Install access points, amplifiers, repeaters, and other network infrastructure equipment Perform cable testing, signal verification, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Work in ceilings, rooftops, ladders, and active construction environments Ensure all installations comply with company standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations Document completed installations, service activities, and submit required reports and photos Required Skills Experience with low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, or structured cabling systems Knowledge of cable testing tools, analyzers, and troubleshooting equipment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in telecommunications, networking, construction, or related field preferred OSHA, CPR, tower climbing, or other industry certifications are a plus Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 50+ pounds Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces Ability to travel to various job sites as needed Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods throughout the workday
