Full Job Description Low Voltage Cable Technician Pay:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour Job Description KS Staffing Group is currently seeking experienced Low Voltage Cable Technicians for commercial construction projects in the Houston area. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who are comfortable working at heights and have experience installing and terminating low voltage cabling. Responsibilities Pull, test, and terminate various types of low voltage cabling. Follow instructions from the team lead to complete daily tasks. Install cable support systems, including ladder racks, J-hooks, and other support structures. Safely work from 6', 8', and 10' ladders, as well as scissor lifts and boom lifts. Perform work on commercial new construction projects. Operate hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, snips, and levels. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Qualifications Experience installing low voltage cabling in commercial environments. Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently. Reliable, punctual, and possess strong communication skills. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
