Job Title:
Field Service Low Voltage Cable Technician Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Cable Technician to join our team. The role requires expertise in cable management, a willingness to travel extensively, and a strong ability to handle technical tasks related to industrial installations. Responsibilities Manage proper cable installations and service loops. Navigate computer systems for timecards, expense reports, and travel bookings. Travel extensively, with assignments potentially lasting 60-90 days away from home. Comprehend and interpret documents including proposals, blueprints, specifications, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Install, commission, and maintain conveyor systems on-site ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and satisfactory completion for clients. Essential Skills Knowledge in cable management and industrial cable installations. Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license and Real ID or passport. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical installations. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
