Telepro Technician -Structured Cabling, AV, CCTV, Intercom, HVAC Controls, CATV Position Summary:
Telepro is seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to support the installation and servicing of low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, Audio/Visual systems, CCTV, intercoms, HVAC controls, and CATV. The Technician will work under the direction of the Foreman or Project Manager to ensure high-quality execution of tasks, compliance with safety standards, and successful project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling .Install and configure low-voltage systems:
AV, CCTV, Intercoms, CATV, and HVAC controls. Assist with pulling cables, mounting devices, and building out telecom rooms. Read and interpret basic blueprints, floor plans, and system drawings. Complete daily tasks as assigned and report progress to the Foreman or Project Manager. Follow company procedures for cable routing, dressing, and testing. Maintain clean and organized work areas and job sites. Complete and submit daily field reports documenting activities and job progress. Participate in quality control checks to ensure installation meets project and industry standards. Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of installed systems. Communicate issues or delays to supervisory staff promptly. Support project close-out efforts including punch list completion and as-built documentation.Qualifications:
1-3+ years of experience in low-voltage installation or structured cabling. Familiarity with tools and equipment for cable installation and termination. Understanding of AV setups, CCTV cameras, intercoms, and control systems. Ability to read basic technical documents and system layouts. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Work Conditions:
Work on active construction sites and in occupied facilities. Physical demands include lifting, ladder use, confined spaces, and working outdoors. Travel to job sites is required; travel is typically within a 300-mile radius - per diem is provided for qualifying travel assignments.Similar jobs in Mission, TX
