Job Description:
Install and terminate access control systems including card readers, door strikes, maglocks, request-to-exit devices, door position switches (DPS), and power supplies in commercial environments. Pull, label, and neatly dress low voltage cabling in conduit, J-hooks, cable tray, and other support structures while maintaining clean, code-compliant installations. Mount and secure control panels, enclosures, locking hardware, and associated field devices according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines. Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and device layouts to determine proper device placement and cable pathways. Work alongside other trades on active construction sites to complete installations safely, on time, and in accordance with project standards What You Bring to the Table 2+ years of installation commercial access control systems.
