Senior Access Control Technician (REAL Experience Only) EIG PRO

Based on experience (if you're legit — you'll earn it) In-Person / Construction Environment / Texas Heat

No relocation. You will be working in active construction sites in Texas. If you can't handle ladders, heat, dust, drills, and long days — do not apply. We are NOT working with staffing agencies. Don't call. Don't email. Don't waste your time. Who This Is For This is not an entry-level role. This is not a "camera installer" role. This is not a "plug-and-play reader" role. This is not an alarm guy role. We need a real Senior Access Control Technician who can walk onto a job site and get it done — correctly — the first time. If you don't know what a DPS, REX, strike, maglock, or electrified crashbar is — this job is not for you. What You'll Actually Be Doing Installing and troubleshooting commercial & multifamily access control systems Door hardware integration including: Electric strikes Maglocks Electronic crashbars / electrified panic hardware
DPS / REX
Power supplies, relays, and door interface modules Lock cutting / door prep (drilling, cutting, modifying doors/frames properly) Reading wiring diagrams, door schedules, and installation manuals without hand-holding Running and terminating cabling like a professional (not a spaghetti monster) Troubleshooting issues in the field with real logic, not guessing Working directly with PMs and leads to finish projects cleanly and on schedule Training junior techs when needed (because you actually know what you're doing) Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable) ✔ Must report to the Wylie, TX office daily ✔ Must have a valid driver's license + reliable transportation ✔ Must pass background check + drug screening ✔ Must be comfortable with ladders, tools, and construction work ✔ Must have real access control experience (not "I helped once") ✔ Must show up on time and communicate like a professional Bonus Points Brivo / PDK / ButterflyMX experience Experience with commercial door hardware and electrified hardware Own truck + tools Strong networking fundamentals (PoE, IP addressing, switches, VLAN basics) Can troubleshoot power, lock circuits, and wiring issues fast Security &/or Access Control license(s) Bottom Line If you're a real senior tech who takes pride in clean installs, solid troubleshooting, and professional work — you'll fit in here and you'll stay busy. If you're unreliable, sloppy, or need babysitting — this is not your place.
