No prior cable experience is required—we provide paid training, hands-on mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement. As a Cable Technician, you'll install, troubleshoot, and maintain residential telecommunications services, including high-speed internet, cable television, home phone, and security systems. You'll work independently in the field while receiving ongoing support from experienced leaders and trainers. Why Join CUI? Paid training with no prior experience required Weekly pay Company vehicle and fuel card provided Company cell phone, uniforms, tools, and equipment Monthly performance bonus opportunities Paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Annual pay increases and career advancement opportunities $500 Sign-On Bonus What You'll Do Install, activate, and troubleshoot internet, cable television, telephone, and security services Educate customers on equipment and services while delivering outstanding customer experiences Perform service upgrades, repairs, and routine maintenance Test and verify signal quality to ensure reliable service Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment in your company-provided vehicle Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards Accurately document completed work and customer interactions Continuously develop technical skills through ongoing training and certification opportunities What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be at least 23 years old Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and safely climb ladders up to 30 feet Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas Strong customer service and communication skills Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends No Experience? No Problem. Many of our most successful technicians started with little or no telecommunications experience. Compensation & Benefits Earn $800 - $1,200+ Per Week Your earnings are based on performance, productivity, and quality.
