EXPERIENCED ONLY LEAD

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Applicants must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Frequency of duties, percent of time and workdays may vary with production requirements. Maintain cable systems by installing, repairing, programming, and upgrading cable infrastructure. Ability to run multiple projects with crew sizes of 2 to 10 technicians Pull, Route, & Label CAT6 or CAT6A cable Test, terminate and label all fiber types Install support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, innerduct, and other related structures Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication Repair related poles and towers to resolve cable issues Ensure job sites are clean and presentable Ability to perform physical demands of the project Possess a thorough understanding of company safety policies; lead by example Safety is first. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma FIVE years of verifiable experience BICSI training or equivalent manufacturer certifications Must have valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Must successfully pass drug and criminal background check. Experience in mechanical installations, general construction and ladder work Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools Complete understanding/experience with data cabling Experience working with all types of building materials, various roof types preferred Visual thinker good at problem solving and implementing ideas Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing data cabling Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, while traveling and/or representing the company Details Ø The hours for this position may exceed 40 hours per week with some weekend work required. Ø Benefits after 60 days of service include health, dental, vision, & paid time off. Environment This job operates in an indoor and outdoor environment that requires an individual to withstand fluctuating weather patterns from high heat to extreme cold. Physical Demands The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to dirt, dust, fumes and/or loud noises. Employees are required to talk or listen/hear. The employee frequently is required to climb ladders, work on a sloped roof, various surfaces, is not afraid of heights, work in attics, able to get into tight spaces, crawl, kneel, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to safely lift supplies and the ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks that can include up a ladder (up to 50 pounds frequently unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance). Employee's personal weight, tools and/or materials cannot exceed the rated weight capacity of ladders.

Have experience with CAT6/CAT6A, fiber optic cabling, and pathway installation? Understand the importance of jobsite professionalism, safety, and accountability? Are dependable, consistently on time, and ready to report daily to assigned jobsites across DC, MD, and Northern VA? Are you a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States? Do you have a valid driver's license (REAL ID compliant preferred) and a clean driving record? Do you have reliable personal transportation to report to jobsites daily (carpooling may be available but not guaranteed)? Are you willing to travel locally, out of town, or out of state as needed? While most work is local, occasional travel may be required. Since you will be reporting directly to jobsites daily, are you able to start early or work later hours as project requirements dictate? The majority of our projects follow typical construction hours, averaging 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
