services throughout the state of Virginia. With active expansion in both internet and video services for multi-dwelling units, our construction and fulfillment team is growing!
Your job duties will include:
Working with a team of technicians to implement large scale deployments of Low Voltage and Video infrastructure. Installing, terminating, and connecting Low Voltage wiring in both active construction and post-construction environments. Performing trim-out and finish work as it relates to low voltage wiring infrastructure. Installation of various network equipment, primarily routers, wireless access points, and security cameras Participation in company parties, team building events, and general fun stuff. Using a variety of wiring tools to optimize signal strength, identify configuration and implementation issues, and work to resolve those issues. Deploying and aligning radio and satellite hardware. Learning new skills and techniques to improve your abilities and those of the SkyWire team. Additional tasks and skills as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
Clean driving record is required Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver objects of 60+ pounds
Candidate Preferences:
Catergory cable terminations in TIA/EIA 568B orientation Copper cable toning, testing, and certification Data closet routing and dressing Fiber optic cable fusion splicing and testing Active DCJS Electronic Security registration OSHA 10 Electrical experience Satellite Technicians - DIRECTV or Dishnet EMT Conduit Installation Experience Experience with
Material Take Offs Compensation:
$17 - $28/hour depending upon experience VA SkyWire offers health insurance plans , 401(k) benefits, paid holidays, and PTO to full time employees.
