Richmond, VA Job Details Full-time | Contract $25 - $30 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Low-voltage system cabling Driver's License Cabling Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Lead Service Cable Technician to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is focused on service work , including break/fix tickets and providing structured cabling support to our customers throughout the area. The ideal candidate has a strong background in troubleshooting, customer service, and structured cabling systems, with the ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities Respond to service tickets and perform break/fix repairs on structured cabling systems. Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling. Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and connectivity issues efficiently. Interface with customers in a professional manner while on-site. Document service work and update ticketing system accurately. Maintain company vehicle and tools in good working order. Lead service efforts and ensure quality standards are met on every job. Qualifications 3+ years of structured cabling experience required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and job specifications. Familiarity with copper and fiber testing tools (e.g., Fluke). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with clean driving record (company vehicle provided). Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
