  • $24•27 (lodging, per diem, and Traveling Position | Long-Term Opportunity | Potential for Permanent Placement We are actively seeking experienced Lead Cable Technicians to support Walmart remodel projects throughout the Southeast.
Current openings are available in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida , and additional locations nationwide. Technicians who perform well and remain on the project will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role and continue supporting future remodels across multiple sites. Responsibilities Lead small crews performing structured cabling and technology upgrades during Walmart remodels Install, route, support, and dress Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling Install cable pathways including j-hooks, ladder racks, innerduct, and cable support systems Terminate and test copper and fiber optic cabling Perform data room buildouts and network infrastructure upgrades Utilize Fluke testers and other testing equipment to certify installations Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and project specifications Coordinate daily activities with project managers, store management, and fellow technicians Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues as needed Maintain a safe and professional work environment Requirements 2+ years of structured cabling or low voltage experience Previous experience leading crews or serving as a lead technician preferred Strong experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic installations Experience terminating and testing copper and fiber cabling Ability to read blueprints and follow project documentation Experience using Fluke test equipment Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces Ability to travel and work at various Walmart locations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications BICSI Certification FOA Certification Data Center or Retail Remodel Experience Fiber Optic Splicing Experience Data Room Buildout Experience Current Project Locations Include Pompano Beach, FL Albemarle, NC Winston-Salem, NC Hope Mills, NC Marion, SC Aiken, SC Clemson, SC Summerville, SC Additional projects are available throughout SC, NC, FL, and other states. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Cable Technician looking for long-term work with the potential to become a permanent member of a growing team. Candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, quality workmanship, and reliability will be considered for ongoing assignments beyond the initial project. #IND2
