POSITION SUMMARY
The Low Voltage Cable Technician (W-2 Employee) performs field operations as assigned by the Company. This position involves coaxial cable installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production-based work in accordance with Company standards, client requirements, safety regulations, and operational procedures. Field Technicians represent Signal Cable INC at customer and project sites and are expected to perform their work professionally, safely, and in full compliance with all applicable Company policies and industry standards. This is a W-2 employment position , offering consistent work opportunities within a structured and compliant employment framework.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform coaxial cable installation, service, maintenance, and related field work efficiently and accurately
  • Complete work orders and service tickets as assigned by supervisors or dispatch
  • Report job codes, production, materials used, and hours worked in accordance with Company procedures
  • Follow Company standards, client specifications, and operational requirements on all tasks
  • Ensure all work meets Quality Control (QC) standards and support inspections when required
  • Address and correct any issues identified during QC reviews
  • Prevent damage to property, utilities, and infrastructure while performing work
  • Report any damage, safety incidents, or job-site issues immediately
  • Follow all safety regulations, including Company policies and OSHA requirements
  • Properly use and maintain Company tools, equipment, and materials
  • Communicate job progress, delays, and issues to supervisors or dispatch
  • Maintain professional behavior when interacting with customers and the public
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to perform physical work (lifting, climbing, digging, bending, and working outdoors or in confined spaces)
  • Basic knowledge of coaxial cable installation and service operations
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet scheduling requirements
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and field awareness Additional Requirements Maintain a neat, professional appearance Possess a valid driver's license Have access to a truck, van, or SUV suitable for field work Successfully pass a background check and drug screening Maintain and use the required tool set for the position
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
