Job Summary:
The Low Voltage Wiring Technician is responsible for all onsite delivery, implementation, service and support of wiring needs for our customers. This relates to all low voltage wiring technology, to include: Category 5e, Category 6, Category 6A, Fiber Optic Cable, Coax Cable, Phone lines, and Multimedia wiring. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install,terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with industry standards. Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs, including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware, while troubleshooting low voltage cable systems. Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testingin accordance withBICSI standards, NEC, and local regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Deliver exceptional customer service,maintainprofessionalism andstrong communicationskills to resolve technical issues and provide solutions. Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanship on all installations to meet project specifications and exceed customer expectations. Travel to job sites anywhere within your state. Minimum Requirements Tech 1:0-2,000 hourscommercial low voltage installation experience Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools; ability to lift/carry/setup a50 poundbox or ladder Must own low voltage tools (snips, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches) Able to work2nd/3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure. Must pass a7-year background check, drug screen, and physical. Requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance Commercial construction experience preferred Must hold, or be willing to obtain,Washington State EL06 Training Card Tech 2: all above requirements plus aminimum 2,000 hours commercial low voltage installation experience: Able to terminatea jack, pull cable and "work a 90" proficiently with limited supervision. Can install,terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic , and coaxial cables proficiently Ability to build out MDF and IDF closets including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware with supervision Submit L&I 24 hours of continuing education Must hold Washington State EL06 Training Card Tech 3: all above requirements plus a minimum of 4,000 hoursof commercial low voltage installation experience: Able toterminatea jack, pull cable and "work a 90" proficiently with no supervision Can install,terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables with no supervision Ability to build out MDF and IDF closets including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware with no supervision Hourssubmittedin L&I and must test every 6 months Must hold Washington State EL06 Training Card Lead Tech / Tech 4: Must hold Washington State EL06 JourneyLicense OSHA 10 First Aid/CPR Lead Tech / Tech 5: Must holdcurrent Washington State EL06 Foreman License OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR Demonstrated experience running a crew of 5+ technicians Professional workingproficiencyin

Tech 1: $24.75/hour Tech 2: $29.25/hour Tech 3: $33.75/hour Tech 4: $45.00/hour Tech 5: $49.50•$57.00/hour
