Warrior Waste is a leading provider in [industry, e.g., waste management/logistics/heavy transportation], dedicated to keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently. We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in heavy-duty truck repair to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including roll-off and garbage trucks. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other mechanical and hydraulic systems. Fabricate and repair hydraulic hoses and systems as needed. Service and maintain roll-off trucks, garbage trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and comply with all safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and provide technical support as required.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience as a diesel technician , preferably with heavy-duty trucks. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy-duty truck components. Experience building and repairing hydraulic hoses is highly preferred. Familiarity with roll-off trucks, garbage trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
