Job Description

Role Overview Our Huntsville, Alabama facility is looking for a dedicated and talented Semi Truck Mechanic to become part of our energetic team. You will play a key part in our success by managing the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of our heavy-duty fleet, ensuring every vehicle operates safely and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with diverse automotive systems and heavy machinery within a high-energy, safety-conscious workplace. Core Duties Execute thorough diagnostic assessments and repairs on semi truck components, covering engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and suspensions. Perform essential preventative maintenance tasks like tire services, fluid changes, and alignments to extend the operational lifespan of our fleet. Leverage technical manuals and wiring diagrams to resolve intricate mechanical and electrical malfunctions. Use fabrication methods, welding tools, and standard power equipment to repair or build necessary vehicle parts. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all heavy equipment operation and maintenance regulations. Required Qualifications Demonstrated history of maintaining heavy-duty vehicles or semi trucks within industrial or dealership environments. Comprehensive understanding of diesel engines, air brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC, and suspension components. Adept at identifying mechanical faults through the use of electronic testing equipment and technical schematics. Proficient in the use of assembly processes, soldering, welding equipment, and various power and hand tools. Help ensure fleet reliability by applying expertise in brake repair, wheel alignment, tire services, and standard vehicle upkeep.
Compensation:
$25.00 - $26.00 per hour Perks and Coverage Retirement savings plan (401k) Dental health coverage
