Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment. This is a full-time position. Hourly rate will vary based on experience.Duties:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to identify any potential issues
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and make necessary repairs
- Complete all repairs according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Certified to work on Doosan Air Compressors and Mack trucks
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to use power tools and other equipment necessary for repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
