  • $40 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work In-person customer service Full Job Description NSC Staffing has an immediate opportunity for a Traveling Diesel Tire Tech in Mobile, AL Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Traveling Diesel Tire Technician to provide onsite commercial tire service and roadside assistance for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
This role involves traveling to customer locations, performing emergency tire repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. A company service truck will be provided and may be taken home. Schedule Monday
  • Friday Regular shift hours: 7:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for emergency roadside service Overtime opportunities available Pay Rate $30
  • 40 per hour depending on experience Some overtime available Responsibilities Perform onsite and roadside commercial tire service for diesel trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment Mount, dismount, repair, rotate, and replace commercial tires Diagnose tire wear, damage, and inflation issues Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner Operate company service truck and tire service equipment safely Complete work orders, service documentation, and inspections accurately Maintain inventory, tools, and cleanliness of company vehicle Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures Build and maintain strong customer relationships at service locations Qualifications Previous commercial tire technician or diesel fleet maintenance experience preferred Experience working with semi-trucks, trailers, heavy-duty vehicles, or construction equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in the field Valid driver's license with clean driving record required CDL preferred but not required Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule Must be reliable, safety-focused, and customer-service oriented Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-100+ pounds regularly Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing Ability to safely operate hydraulic jacks, compressors, and tire equipment Benefits Take-home company service truck provided Competitive hourly pay Overtime opportunities #INDLI
