Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines
  • Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines to identify any potential problems or areas of concern
  • Use automotive diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues with diesel engines
  • Repair or replace faulty components in diesel engines, such as fuel injectors, pistons, or valves
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with diesel engines
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engine systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with tractor-trailers or other large industrial equipment is a plus
  • Ability to solder electrical connections is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
