Diesel Technician

Diesel Technician Our client is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and values being part of a dependable, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated to consistently deliver reliable results. This role is on-site in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Diesel Technician Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. Identify additional mechanical issues and communicate findings to leadership or service advisors. Ensure all repairs are completed correctly the first time to minimize repeat work and downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to shop procedures. Diesel Technician Qualifications 3+ years of experience working with diesel engines in a shop or dealership environment. Experience with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, or similar heavy-duty engine platforms strongly preferred. Familiarity with Freightliner or comparable truck systems is a plus. Flat-rate or commission-based work experience preferred. CDL preferred and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with personal tools required.
