The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of heavy equipment. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and interpreting schematics, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment and trucks to ensure optimal performance. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs efficiently. Operate forklifts and cranes as needed during repair tasks. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within diesel systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Document repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles and equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in diesel engine repair, preferably in a dealership or similar environment. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices. Experience using forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery safely. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to transmit information effectively among team members. Knowledge of suspension systems and their repair is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
