Diesel & Small Equipment Mechanic / Warehouse Supervisor Foundations Concrete Construction LLC - Flagstaff, AZ Full-Time | $25-$45/hour DOE | Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
About Us:
At Foundations Concrete Construction LLC, we take pride in building the foundation—literally—of high-quality construction projects across Flagstaff, AZ. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Diesel and Small Equipment Mechanic/Warehouse Supervisor to maintain and oversee the performance of our fleet and small equipment, keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.
Position Overview:
This position is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our diesel-powered vehicles, small engines, and construction equipment. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on, solutions-focused approach and a passion for equipment maintenance and repair. You will also assist in maintaining warehouse inventory and parts ordering to support field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections on diesel engines and equipment Troubleshoot and repair small engines (e.g., compactors, generators) Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication as part of preventative maintenance Maintain accurate logs of repairs, maintenance, and parts usage Manage parts inventory and assist with procurement Ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment Support field teams by minimizing equipment downtime Work with forklifts, skid steers, and other gas-powered equipment Additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Experience as a mechanic (construction equipment preferred) Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Experience with small engines and tools used in the construction industry Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
