Job Description

Cummins Certified Deisel Technician Monday-Friday / Day Shift / Full Time Competitive Hourly Wage Range ($38-$40+ Performance Bonus) 40 Hours per Week Work 1st shift weekday hours for a successful Cummins Dealer that has been open since 2004 in one of the most stable industries in the market. Canyon State Bus Sales offers a professional atmosphere, competitive diesel mechanic wages, M-F flexible day shift hours, fantastic indoor facilities with industrial evaporative coolers for each bay, safe working conditions, tenured/experienced leadership, and full benefits. The Position focuses on diagnosing failures with school buses featuring Cummins, Allision, Bendix, and other truck/bus industry leading components. Enjoy a meaningful career maintaining the vehicles delivering kids to school every day and keeping them safe. Compensation $38-$40 per hour with regular increases based on experience, plus proficiency bonus up to additional $2 per hour. True hourly pay and not a flat rate pay system. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and models of buses. Main focus of the position is diagnosing difficult electrical, diesel engine/emissions, and brake systems problems. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience medium & heavy truck diesel work Minimum 2 years Cummins diagnostic experience Active Cummins Certifications highly preferred Execute repairs and diagnostics required Ability to proficiently diagnose, repair, and rebuild Cummins engines Emission systems diagnosis experience required Electrical experience required
