Benefits:
Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, and a supportive team environment. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) As an Experienced Diesel Tech, you will handle field and shop diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for major heavy/medium-duty equipment manufacturers.
Diagnose & Repair:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex malfunctions in engines, transmissions, and machine systems.
Field & Shop Work:
Service heavy/medium-duty equipment in the shop and out in the field (including working in adverse weather conditions when necessary).
Job Management:
Plan and control repair job costs, prepare accurate service reports, and make warranty recommendations.
Mentorship:
Provide hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians and helpers.
Client Relations:
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and management regarding equipment conditions and repair progress. What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
Must-Haves:
Experience:
Minimum of 4+ years of professional diesel technician experience.
Certifications:
Current OSHA 10 Certification (or willingness to maintain it) and a valid Driver's License.
Tools:
Must own and maintain your own required personal tools.
Testing:
Ability to complete the TRAIN test evaluation.
Locational:
Must be able to commute or reliably relocate to Phoenix, AZ 85031 before starting.
Language:
Fluency in English (speak, read, write, comprehend). Great-to-Haves (Preferred):
ASE Certification:
Strongly preferred (or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire).
CDL License:
CDL Class A is a major plus, but not strictly required.
Travel Flexibility:
Willingness to travel up to 75% to remote locations as needed. Physical Demands & Work Environment This is a Safety-Sensitive Position . You must be comfortable working around heavy moving mechanical parts, high places, and varying outdoor weather conditions (heat/cold). Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. Ability to stand, kneel, climb, crawl, and balance for extended periods. Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to be certified).
Pay:
$28.58 - $40.00 per hour
