Light Duty Diesel Technician

Light Duty Diesel Technician Responsibilities Diagnose and repair light duty diesel engines (Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins) Perform injector, turbocharger, clutch, brake, and drivability repairs Troubleshoot aftertreatment systems, HVAC, fuel systems, steering & suspension, hydraulic brakes, and electrical systems Complete accurate diagnostics using modern scan tools and software Work efficiently in a flat-rate environment with consistent workflow and earning potential Communicate repair findings clearly with service advisors Light Duty Diesel Technician Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of light duty diesel experience required Strong diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle systems Proficiency working on Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins platforms Working knowledge of aftertreatment systems Must have own professional tools ASE certifications preferred (not required) Dependable, self-motivated, and strong time management skills Light Duty Diesel Technician Benefits $35-$50 hour (based on experience; more for the right technician) Monday-Friday schedule — no weekends 7 paid holidays Paid vacation Health insurance after 90 days Paid training ASE certification training & reimbursement Modern, fully equipped shop with individual technician laptops Electronic repair orders to maximize flagged hours Southwest Truck & RV is working with Smarter Way to Apply to hire their next teammate.
