Arcata, CA Salary:
$25.00 - $35.00 DOE Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic . In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and generators. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related components Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and generators Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Maintain accurate service records and documentation Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic preferred Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required)
