Job Description

GFS Transport Inc is hiring an experienced In-House Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of semi trucks and trailers. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers Diagnose and repair mechanical issues Handle brakes, suspension, tires, electrical, and engine repairs Complete DOT inspections and safety checks Keep maintenance records organized Work with dispatch to minimize downtime Requirements Experience working on diesel trucks and trailers Knowledge of DOT inspections and repair procedures Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Own basic mechanic tools preferred CDL is a plus but not required Reliable and dependable work ethic Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Steady full-time work In-house shop environment Opportunity for overtime
