We are looking for a well trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will need to be versed in both 2 and 4 cycle equipment, gas and diesel trucks, tractors, mowers, and hydraulics. Welding and light fabrication skills are a plus. The work schedule will be from Tuesday to Saturday.
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic (landscaping, automotive, or small engine preferred) Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues efficiently Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Must have and maintain a good standing driving record Valid driver's license Class A or B required Bilingual is a plus Able to work weekends Open to overtime when needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Arborist equipment, trucks, and trailers Diagnose mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs Ensure all equipment is in safe and working condition Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies Ability to open and close work orders accurately Follow safety protocols and company standards Basic welding experience non-structural Perform 90 day B.I.T. inspection & properly document repairs Perform Federal D.O.T. Annual Inspections
