Job Description

South Bay Diesels is a fast-growing shop that specializes in light and medium-duty diesel trucks. We focus on speed, reliability, and quality service for local businesses that depend on their vehicles. Unlike big dealerships, we keep turnaround fast and treat our customers like family.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, filters, inspections, etc.) Troubleshoot and complete repairs on light/medium-duty trucks — no heavy-duty or 18-wheelers Maintain accurate repair records and communicate clearly with the team Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
Specializing in Ford, GMC, Chevy, Dodge, Sprinters. Heavy Duty, Medium Duty Trucks. Not looking for fleet mechanics or 18 wheelers. 2+ years of experience as a diesel or truck mechanic (light/medium duty, not Semis) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have valid driver's license (CDL not required) Own tools a plus (or willing to acquire)
