A Level Diesel Auto Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A Level Auto Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to troubleshoot complex systems and execute repairs efficiently. Duties Conduct comprehensive diesel diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other vehicle systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams for complex electrical and mechanical systems. Experience Proven dealership experience or equivalent automotive service technician background demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain repairs, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, vehicle maintenance procedures, and auto estimating software is preferred. Knowledge of Ford, Dodge and GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Service technician experience involving vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and complex repairs is essential. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, schematics reading skills, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
